Stay hidden and evade the enemy radar with Astor IV

Astor IV

Electromagnetic warfare and radar jamming

The Swedish EW-system Astor IV manipulates radar signals from ships, aircraft as well as stationary radar stations by receiving and transmitting signals. The enemy cannot identify where the target is located. Or if there is one.

Multi band Electronic Attack (EA), Threat Emitter Simulator (TES) and Electronic Support (ES) Systems

Oscilion has launched the ITAR-free ASTOR IV jamming system, designed for operator training and to counter modern jamming waveforms across the full EM radar spectrum. It also allows for testing and evaluating radar systems in challenging EW environments. The system supports training in specialized techniques, ensuring operators maintain effectiveness and emission control awareness. It features two pods mounted on either side of an aircraft’s fuselage and a custom HMI/tablet interface in the cockpit, enabling simultaneous highsensitivity reception and high-power transmission.

The ASTOR IV is a modular, standalone system that can be mounted on any aircraft with a NATO standard pod interface. It provides simultaneous jamming across radar bands from 2-18 GHz, featuring modern DRFM technology for advanced waveforms and effective sidelobe jamming. With ESM capabilities for briefing and debriefing, the system is adaptable for Navy, Army, Airforce, and UAV platforms. It also includes a dedicated training system focused on simplicity, efficiency, and low cost, while remaining capable of electronic attack (EA).
